OWNERSHIP PHILOSOPHY

Our apartment communities are owned by B-G&G Investors, Limited Liability Companies (LLCs).  We are for profit companies practicing sound, aggressive business strategies in order to provide our investors a preferred rate of return and protect their initial investments. 

We are committed to providing high quality housing for moderate and low income households at affordable costs and to promote the convenience, safety, and welfare of the individuals living in our apartment communities. 

The LLCs have not accepted local, state or federal tax dollars to rehabilitate the apartment communities.


What makes us unique apartment owners is that we do not view the concepts of 'profit' and 'community' as being exclusive of one another -- rather complements.  We strongly believe it is our responsibility to 'give back' to society and support our Residents and their communities.

HOWARD GYLER

Mr. Gyler is the managing partner overseeing the day-to-day operations of the apartment communities.  His expertise and duties extend into the following areas of the multi-family housing operation: acquisitions, strategic planning, project development, budgeting/finance, human resources, capital improvements and inventory. This broad experience base is the major contributor to his effectiveness.  

He has 28 years of experience in management, renovation and ownership in the multi-family housing industry in four states, Howard Gyler has a proven track record in managing multimillion-dollar property, team building, leadership skills and motivation in order to attain objectives.  He is innovative and creative with an excellent analytical ability.

is a licensed real estate professional.  Gyler is active in community organizations and frequently cited by the media in regard to issues effecting multi-family housing and racial equality.

JEFFREY BARRAD

Mr. Barrad is a managing partner.  His intensive experience in complex tax situations include:  tax deferred exchanges, real estate transactions, passive actives, investment partnerships and limited liability companies, tax credits, business formation and termination and client representation before the IRS and other governmental agencies. 

With 30 years of experience in business, income tax and accounting, Jeffrey Barrad has a performance history of applying practical, real world solutions to challenging business problems.  He has skill in analyzing complex business situations and/or transactions and organizing them into coherent systems that enhance the client’s ability to successfully manage their business.

Jeffrey Barrad is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in the states of Louisiana and California.  Barrad was a Revenue Agent with the IRS for four years.  He graduated from San Diego State University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting.

ZACK GYLER - District Manager/Construction Manger

Zack Gyler wears duel hats as the District Manager and the Construction Manager.  He is results-oriented, hands-on construction and development professional with years of expertise in the rehabilitation phase of the multi-family construction industry.  

Zack has a verifiable track record for the successful completion of multi-million dollar projects through coordinating trades, developing partnerships and building positive rapports with local officials, vendors and clients while maintaining costs.  He is versed in contract negotiation, project estimating, design problems, document preparation, building code and regulations, material purchasing, site management though certification of occupancy.

JOSHUA BARRAD - Assistant District Manager

 
A driven and hard working individual that is self-motivated and enjoys problem solving.  Josh has extensive experience in the security industry, the loan and insurance industries, as well as a vast knowledge of computer technology.  He is also mechanical, and has a degree in automotive technology.  Mr. Barrad enjoys meeting the challenges of a constantly changing work environment.  He makes goals for himself to progress in whatever endeavor he pursues and uses his experiences and current knowledge as an ever growing foundation toward greater success.
